Wow! Looks like a great trip! Very beautiful! I've only seen trains like that in the movies! Love the green dress and hat that Lacy is wearing, too. I see in that old picture of your grandparents your grandpa is/was an elder? May I ask what denomination that was for?

Yes, seeing the train was absolutely awesome. I had never seen one of those in real life myself. They are very loud!
That green dress that Lacy was wearing, was the dress that Mom made Gran for old-fashioned Sunday, back before Lacy was born. I saw it in the closet, and told her that she just had to try it on =)
Charles Self (my great-grandfather) was an elder of the Old Furnace Church of the Brethren. He died the year before my Dad was born.
